Must your head be perpendicular to the shot line?

Either as you're getting down on the shot, or manually shifting after naturally getting down. I didn't find it to be helpful, and I think it was presented poorly but I do know players who have benefited from it.

I'm no expert, of course, but it's information for others to try.

Thanks.... Just curious.

I just saw Alex Pagulayan playing and I kept looking at his stance and he keeps his head pretty perpendicular but with just a hint of a tilt I'm assuming for his eye and his chin is practically half an inch from the cue

Look at the picture of Allison Fisher on the Main Page.

Don't wanna be a pain in the a**, but in the picture, Allison seems to be reaching out for the shot, the CB seems to be far from her.

I bet on a more "regular" shot where she can position herself correctly that her head would be straighter!

Don't you thiink?

I am right handed and left eye dominant. I don't think my neck will contort in the manner needed for my eyes to be square and level.

Amazing thing the mind is.

So was Willie Mosconi - and he made a ball or two.

There are some videos and even more pics of how he setup for a shot.
Well worth looking into. The little red book has good examples.

Overall, I'd have to say "no." Google her images, and judge for yourself.

I've been watching a lot of her matches lately; really like her process.

The righties & lefties of this world, with cross dominant eyes, must have fits with their alignment. I have a broken neck, so I'm not able to make the twist, to correctly look down the shot line, I'm a rightie with right eye dominance, I even tried a patch to work toward a switch in the dominant eye, but it was way too much trouble to even think about aligning my left over the cue.

So I just do the best I can, which ain't too bad.

Good Luck folks..

Not if they know how to stand.

As I said, Willie is a plenty good example and even gives an explanation.

Disclaimer - if you broke your neck - YMMV - all others, not so much.
