I'd like to use my 100th post to once again say how much I, and hopefully the rest of the pool community, appreciates what theactionreport.com is attempting to do. For years both the pool community and even outsiders have taken advantage of the players and the fans. Perhaps the only way to finally get things moving in the right direction is to have a commited group of billiard fans start promoting the sport themselves. If a simple passion for the sport will get things rolling, then maybe the money will follow. There is absolutely no reason that billiards cannot be a legitimate sport that meets the financial needs of the players and the coverage for the fans. At the sametime, the players that are competing in these events and their colleagues would be acting in their own best interest to promote and support these challenges in anyway they can. It is a great way to increase their recognition to more than just those of us who follow pool at a deeper level. Pool cannot survive on the fanatics, it must increase its target market. So once again, thank to TAR and please keep up the great work.
