My $150 Find. How did I do?

So I have one dynamo table that I am currently redoing. I pulled all the ball return and made it a drop pocket. Ground the pocket castings smooth like a gold crown. Replaced the rail sights with mop. Redid all the veneer to a cocobolo and birdseye theme. But I wanted something to play on right now until I ordered ridgeback rails and put simonis clothe on it....so I went to craigslist and found this table for 200!!! Well I called and asked what he would take lowest price if I can and got it today sight unseen. I offered him 150 and he said yes. I showed up thinking what have I done. I've just bought another project. I get there and realize this table was in better condition than my dynamo was and I paid more than twice as much for it....what do yall think:thumbup::thumbup:.
Ps. I found alot of bar boxes for sale in the 600-1000 range. And if anyone has one pocket liner for a valley please let me know! I am one short

You should see my other one I'm working on. I'm shooting for the world's best playing valley bar box.....which is sad because it still wont be a diamond. :frown:. But I paid 350 for the dynamo knowing it was a project. This one has been shimmed up and plays decent as it is. besides the missing pocket liner and some scratches on the corner plates....I mean jeez...how could i not buy it for 150. I can sell it for 3 times that. I could just keep buying them and open a pool room too. lol jk.....(its a big dream of mine)
 
You've got to love craigslist. I also found an older valley on CL. Paid just $100. Easily the best $100 I've ever spent. I did put new leg levelers on it, new Ridgeback rails, and new tourney blue Simonis 860. All that cost about $350 or so, but it made that old table play great. We have a blast playing on that thing (when we get tired of playing on the 9' Diamond pro that sits right next to it - gotta love the best of both worlds). I can absolutely recommend the Ridgeback rails. Those play great and don't cost any more than new valley stock rails.

And, if we're sharing craigslist finds, check out this cue rack I found on it for $200 a couple of months ago. Life is grand.
 
Boy thats an awsome cl find. That thing must be worth at least 5 times what you paid. I love cl too. And you finding a valley for 100 dollars makes me wish I had offered a little lower.lol. I might have to try and build a rack like that.
