Just received in NPR.

I took up the advice from some to contact Mike directly re my issues with wilson and his method of moderating; we'll see what happens. Maybe others who share my objection to the banning of TBA and other wilson fiascos should do the same.

eta: Well this is very surprising - My thread on NPR was deleted, including wilson's warning and my questions as to why it was issued.

Nice knowing you too Joey, but I'll see you on ept more I'm sure. It's not that easy getting rid of me, I still want that Ropey Bubinga Joey cue, has my name all over it!

Hey Roger,

You know as well as I that this is falling on deaf ears.
My only gripe, and it's a big one, is the monitoring of other boards and using that as a basis for removal.

BTW, don't let a certain individual, we'll call him Borgass Smored, get you going and enticed into a flame war. Trust me, he ain't worth it.

I emailed Mike also. Expressed some concerns regarding the moderation and people left as Admin unbeknownst to the community.

I offered Mike some advice in the past that he said he would take me up on regarding the forum and typed up a really long email that either was overlooked or ignored. I forwarded that email back to him along with the other advice I mentioned above.

I really hope he takes me up on some of this. I have been moderating a message board of over 44,000 members for the past 5 years and all the mods there are well respected and teh community runs smooth. I like to think that I know what I am talking about on things like that... and no I dont want to be a mod here.

Thanks for the heads up Koop. Your gripe is indeed a huge one, and it's outrageous. I'll say again that I don't know TBA at all, but his banning reflects a serious infraction on wilson's part.

We'll see what happens.

There is absolutely no way to win this fight, argument, case, or whatever else anyone wants to call it. It has been pointed out many times that this is Mikes forum and he chose Mr. Wilson to moderate. I seriously doubt that Mike or Mr. Wilson will ever explain why they do or don't do things a certain way. I've been following this thread since it started but for other reasons I wasn't up to voicing my opinion, until now. In the forum Rules, it states that "the OWNERS of AzBilliards Forums reserves the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason." Nowhere in there does it say that the moderator can, or the guy changing the skin, or the janitor, or anyone else. To me, I don't give a damn who moderates, deletes my posts, hands out the warnings, or hits the "ban" button, but if someone ever does, I would expect an explanation unless it was something obvious, such as...............some of my past posts. If I'm EVER, unclear, about something I say in a post, I have no problem giving an explanation to anyone that asks. So, why can't WE, as users of this forum, expect the same from the OWNER, or the moderator? In closing, I don't care either way but I am a USER of this forum so I fight WITH them, NOT against. From what I've read the guy seems to egg people on. Like challenge me and you'll be gone. All the while hiding behind bullet proof glass so he can't be touched.

Well whatever but if this forum was a business model, I'd hate to own that business. It would be busted in short order. If you treat your customers that way in a real business, you loose them. That's what I see happening but I guess if your blinded by the light, you think you'll never run out of customers. I haven't sent an email but if this guy keeps up, I'll just leave. I'd rather do that than have him get his cookies off with a ban.

I've been called a hell of a lot worst than a clown but I was man enough to explain my myself. Not just to stand behind a shield and say well rule #1 says this and rule # 2 says that ect. It's all black and white to him.

This comes froma mellow guy that rarely ever challenges anyone. BTW it's not a challenge at all, I just wanted to express my view.

One in particular that I am interested in. All of the others are gone? I haven't checked the board as frequently as in the past due to the flu and a general feeling of bad vibes I find here now. Hope to see you at HT soon!
