Hiya all,

Thanks to Mr. Jon Nusbaum at www.cuesnthings.com , I've just acquired my 2nd Black Boar cue. This one is extra special...in that it's the only Titlist Conversion cue Tony's done....EVER!!! :) :) Moreover, Tony tells me that the inlay work on this cue was done completely by hand. For those of you who are Titlist fans out there...I think this one ranks right up there at the top.

This cue is gorgeous...and plays almost identical (in great hit and feel) to my other BB cue. Now I'm sitting on a great pair of playing cues, and felt like sharing my good luck with ya'll.

By the by....since I've bought this one, I'm getting just plain SILLY on the cues I'm selling, so check out the F/S thread for some of the best deals of the year!! ;)

Yes....and yes!!!!

It's amazing to me that I finally figured out what it is I want to do with a cue collection...and came to realize that Black Boar was the right one for me.

To have one of only a few signed cues was cool....and then be lucky enough to get into this one, too........just feels "right."

That won't keep me from getting my Scruggs, Searing, Coker, and Davis next year, since they're all being made to my specs.....but as far as a collection goes, I'm gonna work on a nice run of Tony's cues.

Thanks for the kind words, sir!! Glad to hear ya like 'em.

Mark

mark, great way to change the direction you are going with your collection. i love the uniqueness of both cues, way to go.

Thanks, Guy......

It's funny to hear somebody else say that I actually have "direction!" I've been all over the map for the last solid year...and have finally settled down.

Know what, though? You helped me get there....a couple times. And YOU are the reason why I've got another Coker coming my way, too.

Thank you for that. The Cokers are great folks to deal with....and so were/are you.

Be good, sir.

Very nice addition and some of the same things I am looking for these days...Simple, Hoppe Ring and a Great Hitter.

Enjoy,

Careful, bro.....you're one posting shy of the 1000-mark.

USE IT WISELY, SIR!! You can't go back after it's done!

Wanna play some in a couple weeks?

Absolutely Mr. BlackBoar! :) Lets make an appointment for after the new year. I've been playing a lot at Fast Eddie's in Shirlington. I think you will love everything about that pool hall.

Don't get it?

I didn't think that Rat has played there yet....at least I haven't played him there yet so I was just recommending it.

I didn't even know there was a Fast Eddies in Shirlington. I know of the Champions that we've knocked around in.....but I figured the only other F.E. was in D.C. proper.

I'm game for whatever, Matt. If Fast Eddie's is a good spot to play...then let's play!!! :) :)

I'll hit ya up in a few weeks.

What're you gonna play with, if you're selling your R12???
