Hi Guys,

Just wondering how I should go about pricing my cues? What do you think I should get for this cue based on what you see?

Nice looking cue. Points are nice and sharp. I like the color combo. I would say between $400 & 500 maybe more if the white stuff is all ivory.

Based on what I see, IMHO $275-$300 is almost giving it away. My guess would be around $500 no ivory and $700 with.

I would agree with the previous poster, IF the cue was made in the USA. If not, then the $275-$350 applies. Just being honest. The cue could actually be made in Taiwan and be of better quality, but I would be leary of it due to overseas manufacture. Even though I know that Lucasis (China) are well made cues, I avoid them. There are quite a few struggling cuemakers here on AZB that appear to be making a sweet looking cue for a very reasonable price, and if I were in the market for a low end cue I would contact/support them. My next alternative would be an even less expensive Schmelke. They are an excellent value for practically nothing. Now that McDermott and Viking offer a lifetime warranty that INCLUDES warpage AND maintainance...that sorta ends the low end foreign stuff for me. There you have it...Tom

Thanks Guys,

This is a cue that I've put together in NY using Chris Hightower lathe. I sold two 4 points cues that I've converted from my full splice blanks for $350 plus so the price for this should be just a little more. I'm planning on making two extra shafts for this cue. Full splice cues just plays good on it own...so really I didn't have to do much but put the cue togehter so that it can express itself. The white is Faux ivory and the pin actually sit on a piece of phenolic similar to Predator except my pin also penetrate the wood so that it has more feel. All my cues are 59" long with 3/8-10 piloted joint collar. I don't intend to make many cues...just some for myself and friends. I will be making two full splice amboyna burl conversion for my sons...just hoping that my cues will hold up when they are old enough to use them.

Regards,
Duc.

I think they look very nice. I do feel that the cue is worth 500 and if the white is ivory 650 to 700.
