My 7 year old received his custom Pechauer today

That's really cool Pechauer did that for your boy. My 3 year old grandson just moved in with me and he has that sparkle in his eyes. I'll have to get him a custom cue like you got for your boy in a couple years. He's banned from the pool room for now after picking up a ball from the table and tossing it across the room. Just sitting with him watching videos for now until he learns how to listen a little better. The break is his favorite right now, he jumps and screams everytime someone breaks the balls. lol

Here is my 5 year old playing in his first junior tournament. Yeah I can imagine my kids at 3 years of age.....trying to play pool although they did have the right mentality to learn to ride.

My younger one learning the blata pocket bike at 3, and my older one when he was 3 riding his 4 wheeler at Watkins Motocross track.

That's awesome. I'll have to try and get a video of my grandson watching a video of a player breaking the balls to show his reaction. It may just be me, but I think his reaction is priceless. He's a big boy for his age, he's wearing clothes for the size of a 4 or 5 year old. Unfortunately, he's got a large head like Mike Dechaine. I sure hope he don't get in any trouble body slamming guys that pick on him when he gets older. lol

Here is a pic from a week ago, with Jin and Corey Deuel at a local place last weekend.

Had a good conversation, Jin got his cue ball signed... then a couple of games.

Hahaha that is awesome.

Mike actually responded on FB messenger to Jin as my kids watch the show every night. We all know he isn't playing this year in events.... But others from Steinway including Finnegan are in contact with my son and told him when we make our visit early next year, they will have some items to give to him.

Finnegan in particular is awesome, we all know what he portrays on the show and the why. I plan on making a youtube video of Jins lead up and through the trip to Steinways and show a more human side of pool players. Finnegan has been messaging Jin as well and even gave him his cell phone number to call anytime.

My kids made Finnegan a pic and he posted it up as his cover photo, that got them so thrilled....

Starting nice and early...he's in for a lifetime of fun. .....and nice form.

Cute kid there Slo
Felt is a nice place, I remember when that building was a thrift store, before Frank converted it to Table Steaks.
Originally twice the size

Then Bobby Brown Billiards Ink, and it was going to have a tattoo parlor in the back.
Now Felt Billiards and it's very successful.

Very cool

That's pretty awesome! My son has been racing motocross and shooting firearms with me since he was 6( he's now 23) but never had the slightest interest in pool.

video updated in the first post. Thanks everyone for the kind words and support for my son.

Lol, very funny story. I hope nobody was hit by the flying pool ball.

This has got to be the sweetest thing I've seen in a long while. That is one happy kid on the video, I'm happy for the both of you guys! Kudos to Pechauer for coming up with the cue.

So nice to see his smile while carrying the cue with such pride, as he should be as not many juniors his age can say that they have a custom cue that they play with

All the best from overseas! Shoot me a PM if you are interested in a small blue Kamui glove for the youngster, I'd be honored to sponsor his young playing career with a little gift

That is very generous of you and as his father, I appreciate the kind words and gesture. I will send you a PM

So my 7 year old has been playing now for almost 4 months, JPechauer Custom Cues has sponsored & built him a cue and it arrived today.

Big thank you to JPechauer and Team for putting in the work on Jin's cue, Felt Bar and staff, Gerards Pool Hall for free pool time, and his trainer/coach and mentor... Samm (Diep) Vidal Claramunt.

For a seven year old that has only been playing for four months your son has skills! Very impressed with his form and ability. Even more important, he seems to a be a great kid. You must be very proud. Props also to those that have helped him out, and to you for your genuine appreciation and gracious recognition of those that have helped. Really cool video.
