My BEST 9 ball break

thanks :)

But I've got to take my hat off to the OP, never seen anything like it.[/QUOTE]

immagine what happened to me yesterday, when playing in a weekly tourney. unfortunately no video to prove it. :) so it goes.

got a object ball (number 6) 10 inches away from the corner pocket, had to get shape on to 7 which was on the other side of a table. so i sort of slam with lots of english. 6 didnt go in a pocket but sprung an a rail and bouncing went towards side pocket. when it reached side pocket, 6 hit the point and went accross the table to sink in opposite side. now that made peopls emotional :) went to finish last three balls :) and end up splitting the finals :)

challenge

With some massive draw and a little left hand on the cue ball I bet I could sink the 7 in the corner and suck the cue ball back off the rail .. across the table and make 8 ball in the side in one shot. Leave myself on the nine & be out in 3 shots including the break

i challenge u to make a video of how u do it. :)

I made 7 balls playing on a 7' Valley. The balls on the table after the break were the cue ball, 2 ball, and 7 ball. Witnessed by my buddy Dallas Benjamin while playing sets for $50.

Funny thing is I've never made 6 before this. Made 5 a couple of times.

Shot on the 7 with enough draw and inside english to make the 8 off one rail looks like a stone cold scratch in the corner to me.

inside english as u stated ;)

Yes inside english will give me a correction to the angle on the seven and reverse itself once I draw the cue ball into the rail, giving me the additional speed I need to go across table for the 8 ball.

I guess I posted "left" hand english in post before I need to correct that to "right" hand ....... been a long day here at work

Can the OP clear something up. What angle is there on the 7? And are you wanting to go 1 rail (long) or 2 (short then long)?

If 1 rail, then even if you throw the 7 in with SIT and straighten the angle and draw dead straight back into the long rail it will be reverse english and not running english. The CB will not have an angle to travel to the 8. You would need outside english to accelerate the CB and increase the angle from the rail, a very difficult shot but do able.

You'd have better luck smashing the CB with extreme follow and a little inside and curving the CB off the short rail into the 8. Even then you could expect to make that less than 1% of the time without scratching after you make the 8.

I just made the shot twice in seven tries here at the house. No video camera though until saturday. I will post it then though

One bank off long rail and you are correct "right" hand (outside) english. (I was dreaming of leaving work about the time I posted lefthand earlier) lol

no video required then on outside english :)

all clear then

When I was 13 years old I was playing 9-Ball and made 7 balls on the break on a 9-foot Gold Crown.

The cue ball, the 2-ball, and the 8-ball were the only ones left on the table.

Other than that I think 5 on the break is my best, I've never made 6.
