The cue was delivered to me today, and believe me, this amboyna is awesome in person ;)
I'm off to the billiard club to shoot some balls with this beauty :grin:
 
I like those rings a LOT. I see some inspiration from another maker in them :)

But they're awesome. Love fancy rings.
 
jmurphy, amboyna burl comes from narra which is very common in the Philippines.

btw, did you prefer the regular shaft or the 1AL1 LD shaft?

I asked Al to make two 1Al1 shafts, as I used to play with LD shafts.
So, they are identical )
