My Brand New Searing Cue!!!

All,

I was DYING to share my latest cue with ya'll, but had several things in the pipe that kept me from posting up some pics until now.

This cue is the culmination of some long, great talks with Dennis. He really put his heart and soul into this cue for me, and the end result is 1000x better than I ever could have hoped for! It was well worth the wait, and this bad boy shows up at my door tomorrow morning!!! Obviously, I'll post more pics once I get the cue in hand, and on my table...the ones below are courtesy of Mr. Searing. His photo skills are better than mine anyway, so I wanted to post these up first.

This cue has a whopping 144 individual inlays. All are in the ringwork he created for me, and all are perfect. The outer diamond inlays are ivory, with silver diamonds inlayed into each one. Ivory dashes separate each diamond. Dennis put multiple special "tweaks" into this cue, to make it all the more special and unique. There are a million tiny birdseyes in the maple, and they wrap around the entire cue, completely. One of the most gorgeous BEM player's cues I've ever laid my eyes on...regardless of the fact I may be a bit biased!! ;)

I cannot possibly be any more pleased and excited about this cue. It just so happens that I get to play with it for about a week before I head off on my big trip...and I am going to enjoy every second of it.

A huge "thank you" to Mr. Searing for making me a cue that far exceeds every want and expectation. You really have outdone yourself, sir...and made me a very happy cue owner!!

More pics to come tomorrow, ya'll. For now, enjoy these!!

Cong-RATS Mark hope it is everthing you hoped it would be. It is a simple design, and i hear Searing are Major League hitters.

Only slightly delayed, sir. I'm due to fly out in about a week.

Thanks much for the kind words. I have waited a little bit for this cue to arrive...and it's everything I was hoping for, plus and extra 1000% better!!

Have a blast at Valley Forge, sir. Give my regards to as many AZB crewmembers you can find!!

Congrats...Mark! Great cue!!!!

Now...when you decide to sell please contact me first...I mean, you do have a track record! ;) :p

Thanks, Jamie. I am so excited about this cue, I can barely contain myself. I know my wife is happy as hell about it, too...since she won't have to hear me talk about it anymore!!

This cue, for MANY reasons, will stay with me. Even with my track record, I (and my wife) have put my foot down on this one. I am excited to share the pics, though...and will very much look forward to Valley Forge next year, so I can show you this incredible cue in person!

Have a great show, and hope your business numbers skyrocket at Valley Forge!!

Take care, sir.

Hello Mark,

I saw the cue last night and if you think the pictures look good....you better hold on to your seat...when you see detail in the inlay work....:D

The figure in the forearm and butt is awesome and that stainless joint is soooo polished...and the weight bolt..you may want to consider not using the bumper;)

It's like....gee, I wish that cue were....... mine!!!!

Congrats,
Scott

Scott,

I thank you much, sir. Dennis told me the same thing...that I have to see it first-hand in order to get the full impact of the wood grain detail and inlay work. I am counting down the hours, and I'm ready to be blown away by it. Something tells me I'm going to be a very happy man with my new Searing cue!! :)

Thanks much, Kam. I thought you would appreciate how great the cue turned out. I almost sent you an e-mail with the pics...but got too excited to do more than one thing at a time!! :) ;)

Take care, my friend. Drop me a line anytime you can.

no worries - i have ultra high resolution shots of that cue ... dennis and i spent close to 3 hours on the phone discussing some of the work that went into that one and some others ...

this is a man who truly loves what he does ...

the cue is so more than the sum of its parts ....

am really happy for you.....

take care,
kam

The figure of that BEM is ridiculous.

The Eyes HAVE EYES!

Looks great, congrats on it.

there was a debate in the cuemaker section i believe about BEM with eyes around the enitre cue... interesting cue.
You have a link to it, sir? I'd be interested to take a read...and the "BEM" search comes up with about 15,879 different threads!!

ahh wow I remember seeing these inlays being cut out and i had to leave just before he put them in. I saw the cue when it wasn't even close to finished and I was really admiring the bem.

The cue looks absolutely gorgeous.

Thank you much, Jeff. I'm really happy about it. It came out better that I would have been able to imagine. The amount of detail in the rings is just soooooooo sweet. Not enough to make it too flashy....but just enough to make it "pop."

All in all....it's perfect.
