I don't know if you've seen this cue in another thread so I'll post up a pic.
I think redwood and ebony go together perfectly.
This one doesn't have any clear yet

Steve Dunkel did a super nice cue with copper.
I don't know how it would look with the deep red of the redwood.

Im kinda stuck on the joint to im not sure to use ivory stailness steel or black or white phenolic. any ideals with the joint or ring work

do you think silver would look better for the rings or do something diffrent from the double ringwork

copper

I have been using copper for about 7 years. And as far as metal rings in a cue it is mainly all I use. You just have to know what to put next to it to set it off.

Thanks for the compliment Cuejo. I First saw a cue a few years ago made by John Rocket with Copper. That was my inspiration for using copper in a cue. I like to give credit where credit is due.

make cue stand out

TRY this.
first ,,measure your cue , not thickness, but length. Be very accurate.
Then, have a cuemaker make you a shaft exactly one inch longer than all your friends cues. This will definately make yours stand out at least an inch more than theirs.
lol good luck
