Okay, stop the giggling and listen. I have my wrapped cues I play with and yes I play in bars, taverns and pool halls. It has picked up the "smoke" or whatever the smell is in bars.

We live in a non-smoking house, and what I usually do is take the cues out of my case and leave them sitting on the table at home. The smell lessens over time.

My question, what do you do to get it all the way out?

I havent seen this one on a thread yet................

Regards
Ken

Heh heh ...

I had a wife that used to keep poperie (sp) or cologne samples in her
panty drawer and I sure liked the way they smelled. Perhaps you
can leave your cue in a drawer with some nice scents over a few nights ...lol

Get a can of Ozium and a Rubbermaid storage container, or large plastic bag. Spray three one second bursts of Ozium into the container or bag and then place your cue in whichever of the two you have selected, finally seal the container or bag. Let the cue stay overnite and then wipe it down with a damp cloth and soapy water, (don't wet the wrap if it's linen) rinse the cloth out thouroughly wring it good and wipe the cue down once more. Dry the cue thorougly and then wipe it down with a fabric softener dryer sheet. For a linen wrap I use Blue Coral Upholstery Cleaner (Dri-Clean Plus w/ Odor Eliminator) place a golf ball sized amount of the Blue Coral foam on a hand-towel and wipe the wrap gently (it will dry in a minute or less). This should take care of the problem.

Ozium can usually be found at auto stores, car washes and head shops (yes, it gets rid of pot smell like a charm).
