Here are the 7 cues I bought from Dean (deanoc). I think I bought all 7 within the past 6-9 months. Dean sells great cues for really great prices. What we have here are, from left to right:

Tonkin 4 pointer with an ivory joint
Jame White merry widow made of some amazing bird's eye maple
Schon ivory jointed Craig Petersen tribute
Schon Balabushka tribute with REAL Cortland Linen
Schon Mosconi tribute
Bob Owen diamond special with an ivory joint
Bob Own ivory box cue with an ivory joint

After the cues, are the incredible cases Dean ships his cues in. These are possibly some of the best made cases in the world today. What other case could be so loud that you could see it from anywhere in the pool room? What other case could look like a $25 beater, while maintaining it's integrity and special qualities? Of course, I am joking about all of the above regarding the cases (other than being able to see them from anywhere). They are some of the ugliest cases known to man, but when used to ship cues in, they're your best friend.

Thanks for all the deals, Dean. And most of all, thanks for being someone I can call a friend, who calls me one back!!

Chris

Nice cues but I really like the Tonkin. I have a friend who has a beautiful Tonkin and I had a chance to play some with it last night and man does that cue play!

I may be looking for one soon!

what a beautiful collection of cues
i forgot how many that you had from me

if people on az were to vote on collection of the year
i bet there are not a few who would be happy to choose yours

proving it does not take a fortune to get something beautiful,
just good taste

which you ,my friend, have in spades

cases are about as nice as the one i carry myself
these cases sell for $25 if you need one

Thanks. From what I have heard from others, all Tonkin's play great.. from the basic 4 pointer to his amazingly intricate work. This one is no exception. I have always preferred piloted joint cues.. but Pete's 3/8-10 modified flat face joint plays amazingly well.

Any chance we can look at the ivory joint of the Schon without the joint ptotector? Thanks.

Many of us posted pictures of the Schon CP Tribute in the for sale forum on Dean's post about the cues being shipped. It ended up being a solid ivory piloted joint (think Scruggs, Ginacue, etc.). There are pictures from every angle of the joint there. Here is a link to the thread:

I hope that shows you what you wish to see.

Thank you, Dean. It's rather easy to have good taste when the man you buy over half your cues from has good taste before you do =) And I definitely love my collection... that left out my 2 Scruggs cues, my Phillippi, my Richard Black, and my full spliced Blackcreek. It may not cost a fortune, but when you buy a WHOLE bunch of them in a short time, you have to stop even looking at cues for sale for a good while =) Still, the cues I got from you were all great buys, and great cues!

Thanks again, Dean.

lol If it was one you were after, then I guess I beat you to it. It's a great cue. As soon as I get some money again, and after Kenny Murrell and Paul Drexler finish cues for me, I'm going to see what I can come up with from Pete Tonkin. It's a very sweet cue..

Pocono and Ill Gotten Gain.. you're both very welcome. Thanks for looking. I hope you saw something that you enjoyed.

Actually those cases are probably the most secure tube cases available! Nice set of cues there!!

Very nice collection. I really like the Owens box cue. Thanks for sharing.
