My Experience with Prulhiere cues

This is my story of my ongoing experience with Prulhiere cues.

I had seen some of his cues on ebay and on here and I thought I would order a cue from this guy. I thought maybe he was an up and coming cue maker and I could get one of his cues early on.

I contacted him through ebay and asked if he could make an all Ebony cue with two shafts. He said no problem, it would cost 275.00 and he could have it to me in 12 weeks. That sounded ok to me, so I sent him the 275 along with a very nice ringtail wrap I had been saving to use when I got an Ebony cue.

Well, 12 weeks go by and no cue so I contact him and he tells me he is running a little behind but that he would have the cue to me in a 2 to 3 week window. Well 3 weeks go by and no cue, so I contact him again and he gives me this big sob story about money problems and how the stories being told about him on here are causing people to cancel orders.

I should add that when I sent the money, I hadn't read all the crap about him on here. But even then I thought that might be a good thing for me as he would want to prove himself by making me a good cue so I could give him a good review.

So after the sob story I tell him I see him selling cues on ebay left and right and that I don't understand why he can't make my cue, So I tell him just send me my money back and I wouldn't post anything about it and we would act like nothing happened.

Well, it's been a few weeks, no money, no contact from him. I'm just really pissed off.
 
He has self destructed on AZB. Flea bay is his last refuge.
If he's smart he won't post here anymore. He is very good at shooting himself in the foot.
 
I'm wondering since I sent him the money through paypal if I can contact paypal about getting ripped off.

If I could shut down his payment method, he wouldn't have ebay.
 
Absolutely....Paypal will reverse the payment and hold it in abeyance until the matter is resolved, If he doesn't cooperate, he could lose selling privileges on Bay and also forfeit usage to Paypal as well. Meanwhile, nail him on the I-trader ratings on AZ........he seems to be a bad egg from what I've read of his replies to posts criticizing him.
 
I am not responding to anything after this. The way things are being presented are so twisted from the truth. You way over embellished your story so it would sound more like some of the others you read and people could get behind you as well. I told you I was almost done and you still cancelled. Plenty of cue makers run over on a build and a couple of weeks is no big deal. You said you hadn't heard from me for weeks yet I have messages in my box where we just talked on the 18th. This WAS NOT YOUR CUE. You cancelled your cue because it was 2 weeks over due and you read these posts and freaked out. You also decided you wanted a different cue and told me that is why you were cancelling. I have done some things wrong and got my self in a terrible financial spot that I don't even know if I can get out of, but the last thing I need is someone exaggerating a story to be in with the other posts. Several people are wanting their money right now, including you, but you would have me not try to make any money or sell anything? I don't even understand that logic. You didn't want the cue. Of course I will sell any cue I have. I am not going to just set it on a shelf. This has turned into a witch hunt on here. Everything I post gets thrown back at me. So knowing ahead this time that this will also be shoved back in my face, I am done posting here.

I just sent you a pm. I said take it off ebay, put another shaft with it and send it to me. Of course it won't have the nice ringtail I sent you to put on it, but I would rather have something than nothing.

What's your answer?

Just a thought, with all these complaints and money not being refunded, can't some type of civil or small claims suit be made? With the complaints on this forum and the emails I received after posting the cue on ebay there's at least a dozen unhappy customers right there.
 
Hired guns, is this a threat? I just received $.01 from you through my paypal with this note attached to it.

What kind of experiment? Sending someone a penny through paypal with a list of weapons doesn't sound like an experiment. It seems very threatening. Unhappy customer or not, there does need to be a line somewhere.
