I have been going to the expo for 20 years and never knew there was a TAP single tournament. I knew there were TAP teams, just not the singles. I heard about this last year. So, I played TAP again this year so I could play at the expo.
I played in the skill level 4. Did not do well Saturday, 1-2. They put me in the gold group for Sunday. Single elim. I won all 5 matches, and won the group. $500.
It was good to see some faces i only see at the expo. i enjoy looked at all the neat toys.
Bought a new jump stick from Dunkel. Saw some really fancy cues. I would have to win the lottery to spend that kind of money.
Spoke to Predator people about care of my new Revo. They told me I was lucky to have waited only 3 months when i ordered it in December.
Heath Manning was working the Diamond table booth. i like this guy. He has put some great videos out there for free. His videos on kicking are great. This is why I bought my new cue from him. We need to support people like this.
Heath was giving away t shirts to members of azbilliards. There was advertising for his store on it. Everybody else wanted you to give them $20 for a t shirt that advertises their business.
Scott Lee was doing free lessons at the Simonis booth. I surprised to see so few people taking advantage of this.
It seems like few vendors. Also, fewer big names in the pros, both men and women
