I just placed my order with Keith Josey for my new Sneaky Pete cue from him. Him and his wife are really great people to work with. This being my first custom cue I had lots of questions and they answered everyone. Now I just hope I don't go crazy waiting on it! :)

I will post pics once I get some!

I know what you mean about going crazy. I placed my order back in June for my Pancerny and getting more anxious every day

Yep, me too. Ordered mine in August. They said at the time it should be around November so I am hoping to hear something this month.

man if I ordered a custom cue it'd def wouldn't be a sneaky pete. I'd want something more unique.

But to each his own, im sure thats what you like and thats why you got it. You'll love it i'm sure!

I want to get a custom cue but I just don't know which design I like best, nor which cue stats I like best. I'll probably wait as I have only owned two cues and don't know much about taper, ferrules, shaft diameter etc... They all seem to work great for me.

Josey Cues

This is my 3rd post on this forum, I think. I have been lurking and learning here a long time. Right now I have 2 Rosewood Josey sneaky's. They are not for sale and won't be. There's not another cue out there that gives you as much for your money as Keith's cues do IMO and I have owned everything from a $50 sneaky to my B Szam that I am afraid to take to the pool room and play with.
Sherri and Keith are great to work with. I really appreciate the patience they have had with me. I play with my Josey Cues just about everyday.

Just wondering why you feel the need to jump everyone's threads and give em a slap in the face?

Me thinks you're gonna turn red very soon. Please allow me to be the first one.

What are you shooting with right now, a house cue? Most likely.

 Wasn't you saying two days ago you can't draw the ball? So how do you figure they all seem to work great for you? IMO you should really learn to stroke the ball better before getting a custom. If you can't draw the ball on any felt. Take a couple hundred of that $1000 plus you would spend on a custom and get a few hours worth of lessons.

Also there is nothing unique about a Sneaky pete They all pretty much look the same.. WHen your ready for a custom cue draw up a design. Save pictures of cues you see that you like. Then get on photo shop and use different parts of different cues that you like and make it your own.

Congrats on the Cue.. Heck I can not wait for mine and I have not even placed the order yet. LOL It's one that I designed. I am going to have Andy Gilbert make it. I had a cue he made back when I played daily and loved it.

I been here for ever. Did you play pool back then? Where you shoot these days?

I didn't play pool back then. Picked it up in Florida around 2000. I have a table in my house that I play on mostly. There is a pool hall (Barleys) across the street from my office in Atlanta that I go play at and eat lunch a couple times a month. I went to Central for HS.
