Finally got my first 100-ball run on camera and put together a commentary video breaking it down shot by shot. The commentary was recorded after the run - narrated by an AI voice styled after Grady Mathews (felt like the only voice suitable for pool commentary) - so I'm explaining what I was thinking at the time — plus, with hindsight, what I'd do differently today.
We can all learn a ton from watching guys like Schmidt, Shaw, Hohmann, or going back further, Sigel and Mizerak. But I've always found it's sometimes easier to learn from someone just a little farther along than you are — the mistakes and problems tend to be more relatable.
Covers pattern play, problem-ball recognition, break/key ball selection, and the small mistakes that add up over a long run (there were a few).
Recorded July 3rd on my home table — Gold Crown V Tournament Edition, 4½" pockets, Simonis 860, Centennial balls.
