My first work on a DP cue

So I'm at the pool hall and one of the guys asks me if I can make this DP jump cue into a 3 piece.
I have a look and say it can be done.
The more I look at it, it seems as though it was a cue that had a bad A joint, so he cut it out and sold the forearm as a jumper.
My customer had a butt from a 3 piece diveney that looked sorta matching so he gave that to me to match.
I took it home, plugged the "buttcap" drilled tapped, yadda yadda,
When I faced it off I noticed that this was one eccentric job!
I'm just posting this because I haven't really seen anything quite like this...
Has any one else?

Ended up not looking too bad...
The funny part is,
The bottom was colored in sharpie so it looked like a solid phenolic, hiding all of the eccentric rings :)
Just wanted to share :D

Looks like DP just saved a cue that warped too much to use and made a jump cue out of it. If I was a cue building coach I would say "Good Save".
I see no harm in what was done.

I don't see any harm either.
Just a little insight for me on these eBay cues.
I'm not sure it was a good save as the cue didn't jump worth s darn :)
It took me 10 minutes to match a butt to it, I'm sure DP could've done it even better than I did and sold a complete cue for more $.
Now this guy has a DP/pd :)
