break and run on a gold crown :D i come from a small town where there were not many big tables (only one that i can think of) so most of my pool playing life has been spent on the bar boxes. well i got out of that small town and found a great place to play (so great i travel about an hour to get there) i've only played on a gc 3 times now and tonight i had my first break and run on one and it felt good like it was my first BnR ever lol.

so can i be condsidered a real pool player now :D

I think that qualifies you as a real pool player  .

My most has only been 5 pockets in a row :(

btw, how much does the new place charge per hour???

Congrats!! Bet it made the hour drive home seem like 10 minutes, right? Consider yourself hooked and yes you are a real pool player. Being a real player isn't about how many racks you string together, it's about driving an hour or more to find a nice place to play. You got the passion, that makes you a player.

I compare my first B&R to my first time breaking 90 in golf. Afterwards it just happened more and more because the stress about doing it was gone. Expect more B&R's, put more importantly worry about your speed control, the break and runs will follow. :)

Congrats again,
Mike

run

congrats on the run,, never easy to do.. i just got my first back to back 9 ball run a week ago..keep thinking in terms as making one ball at a time and the runs will come.. good luck cory

can't recall exactly lol i just go in say can i get a table go play and than they charge me lol i think it's 7.00 an hour weekdays for 1 person and they have different rates for weekends and amount of players.

i think this was the confidence builder i needed to get into one of their tournaments. ill post the results of that tomorrow night :D
