This is a Gold Crown which I picked up yesterday.
Isn't it beautiful.
Love the custom paint job which looks like rust proofing for cars. Who ever did this is a true artist. :love:
They even rust proofed the plastic ball return covers.

There is one saving grace with this table.
It hasn't had that many re-cloths so the timber was not stapled out which is good

Can anyone explain why in the ball holding tray there is laminate covering the ball tracks.
Or I would guess it's a hack job

Love the rail counters their so heavy duty.

All of the trim work, castings, and counters were in really good nick. Although they were pitted there were no dents.

I'm guessing this is a GC1.
Everything is so heavy duty.
This table will be restored.

It has the " T "brackets and it has the 4 piece rail extrusions on the skirts.
Could it be a "late GC1"

I’d say GC1. The GC2 had Bronze trim on the ball box and bronze feet. Plus, if I’m not mistaken, Monarch Superspeed changed to just Superspeed for the GC2. Looks just like my GC1 (sans the special paint job!)

Changed to Superspeed on the 3's.
