My Lesson with Scott Lee

I had the pleasure of setting up a half day lesson with Scott this past Friday, quite an experience! We spent the majority of our time in stroke analysis, Scott did a great job detailing what I was doing well and what needed tweaking. I went in to the lesson hoping to improve consistancy issues I had and learning how to groove a straight stroke was what I got so I was quite satisfied. I've spent a couple of sessions practicing so far and can see improvement. I have my first league night tonight, I won't be able to apply everything I just learned just yet but it should be interesting to see how tonight's matches go compared to my average performance. I put up a sad video of getting spanked my the ghost, I'll try it again after a month or so of practice sessions. Thanks again Scott! The price was high as far as my budget but I came away feeling I got good value for my $.

IMO, you made a wise investment. As someone who attended pool school with Scott Lee about a year ago, I can assure you that if you stick with the "process", you'll continue to receive great returns on your investment for many more years to come.

I haven't even started practicing the things Scott showed me and I've seen improvement. It was a great experience and I hope to have another lesson with him.

I was fortunate to have bad habits that can be corrected without reinventing my stroke (death grip on cue, short backswing, no pause). Just remembering to let the cue do the work has been enough for those things. The eye pattern stuff and speed control with a full backstroke are things I'm still leaving to practice and sessions for now.

I will be in Denver this August for about a week. I have a pool school scheduled. If you need a free tune-up, just ask.

Wow, thanks for the offer Randy. I will likely take you up on it if I'm not in Las Vegas at the time.

Anthony...Thanks for the kind words! I really enjoyed working with you too! I would definitely take Randy up on his offer, if you're in Denver then! I look forward to following your progress!

I did a pool school with Randy a little while back, and have spoken with Scott on a few different occasions. These guys are both excellent instructors and can definitely help anyone improve their consistency to the next level.
