my Mike Bender in progress

hard to see the nose. is it a stained maple?

just by looking at the pic as is, the maple wrap is rather stark to the b/w nose and butt. the design itself is nice.

unless you REALLY REALLY love the color green, take a sec to think about using it and how much.

Man~this cue is insaine:eek: , if there was no SW I'll definitely go for bender,
much fancier design and stylish:D
 
I don't know if you've had any experience with Mike Bender but if not, I'm certain you'll be pleased with the cue he is making for you. You'll also be pleased with working with Mike. He's a class act.

Also, thought I'd send you a picture of one of three cues he just completed for me.

Look forward to seeing the final product.

Now that's a sharp cue!! I have 2 Benders and 1 on the way. Mike's work is impeccable, he's a prefectionist. I will see him at the VF Expo to finish up the design on the cue. We have changed the design so many times, it's time to get the cue built, there will be over 200 inlays in the cue.
Can't wait to see your cue when it's finished. Don't forget to post photos. When will it be done??

sorry, the nose is Walnut (natural color)
also, the handle is Madrone Burl. as for the SeaGreen Emerald inlay. the color looks really nice cause is the Austria Emerald, the color is lite green. as for how much for the Emerald, it really doesn't matter because i buy the Emerald from the miners & i still have about 1300carat if anyone is interested can email me. also, total Emerald carat that going to inlay in the cue is about 44.6carat

thank you for the compliment. the handle is segmented. all ring work is Mike Benders signatures Rosary Bead ring work.

yes, i do have experience with Mike Bender cue or else i won't order cue from Mike. by the way, that a very nice Bender cue you got there. is the ring work is Mike's Rosary Bead ring work ?

Yes, it's the Rosary Bead ring work. Also, if you notice, the cue has Mike's patented spear inlay that identifies his cues. Don't forget to send me a shot of your finished cue.

Hey Tony,
Your Bender is a beautiful cue... Mike does some incredible work..
Mike has just finished up a MONSTER for me.. He should be shipping it to me next week... It is a Ivory Handle, Many Ivory Points, In a Walnut Burl.. It has about 2500 silver holes in it....
Probably make it to my booth at Hopkins show..

Hi Ken, I'll make sure to stop by, I'm looking forward to the show. I'll have a lot more stones with me this time. You have some beautiful cues in your collection. I see Bender is doing more cues with gemstones now a days, hopefuly mine will be done in August. See you at the show.

i like Bender rosary ring work, i had a pretty much the same cue 5 yrs ago, is the same design except my is leather wraps not segmented handle. i will post pic's once i rec'd the cue.
