Just got my Mottey back this week. 4 point macassar ebony points with orange green blue black veneers. szamboti stiching at the joint. smooth black leather wrap. had it refinished 4 new 30" shafts made. 2 are predator blanks. 2 Mottey shafts with 5/8 ivory ferrules. I love how the Mottey shafts hit with shorter ferrules. I may never use the predator shafts. let me know what you guys think!

Mottey Cue

Nice looking cue and I love the 4 shafts. The more shafts the merrier....

very sweet.. very sweet... i want to send the mottey i just bought not too long ago out to have it redone.. i wanted to send it to Paul.. but it may end up going to Proficient.. i havent decided yet.. probably not till after valley forge though...

i used to have a predator shaft withfancy rings, that matched the cue the mottey cue that looked like that fancy pink ivory and snakewood ginacue.. anyways.. it was a predator shaft with a ivory ferrule on it.. it played soo sweet.. to this day i regret selling that shaft and also a pie laminated shaft that mottey made for the same cue.. i loved those shafts.. but sold them with my schon.. miss the shafts.. not the schon..lol.. (well.. on the inside i miss the schon too.. )

This was made in 1987 and I have owned it since 1992. I don't know who owned it before I bought it in Youngstown Ohio. Paul refinished it about three months ago and did a beautiful job. I just bought a Predator Z shaft to see if it improves the play. We'll see.
