Memories.

These past few weeks I have met many people who are both active AZB posters and dedicated lurkers.

Thanks to all of you for the hospitality and the education. I have been introduced to many levels of collecting and now have a greater appreciation of why some of you collect what you do and buy and sell like you do.

I have seen cues that to my knowledge not very many people even know of their existence. I have heard amazing stories about how those cues came to being, where they traveled before they ended up where they are now, and what they mean to the owners.

Each collector/hunter has their own reasons and passions for what they decide to go after. I have learned a lot of behind the scenes stories about cue makers that make them even more interesting than the basic fact that they produce functional art.

If I don't go into details it's because I don't want to put out information that the storytellers themselves haven't seen fit to make public knowledge. nothing bad, no soap opera type stuff, just personal fun stories.

I'd like to thank Okie, 1pocketRoscoe, Huck in OKC, Kent Taylor, Shane and Jessica at Jamacia Joe's, Don Owen, Royce Bunnell, JG Cues (Jacob), TheDragon, Dean and June Campbell, Will and Rhoda Prout, Wawa, Steve Lomax, Dennis Searing, Mike Lambros, Roy Malott (not a member here)and the others I have met who know me from my AZB exploits but who choose to lurk and be entertained.

This has been a great trip so far and I can't say enough about all the really wonderful people in the game at the serious player/collector level.

So thanks for the memories. No pics because I either didn't take them OR I don't want to publicize them for privacy reasons.

No matter what I will never forget this trip.
