You're very welcome Tommy. And thank you for the order - my wife and coming baby thank you very much!
I'll just give everyone a little more info on your case. First, for this model the case is finished with no rivets and the pockets and finish seam is all done by hand one stitch at a time.
Tom said make the tooling special so we picked flowers in different poses and put 16 of them in the inlay on the back piece paying special attention to the depth and lift of the petals in true Sheridan Carving tradition. A rope border frames the inlay with the flora barely contained.
The main body of the case is done in a luxurious oil tan which has a waxy touch. On the front side we made the lower pocket 15.5 inches in length and 1.75" inches high so that it will easily hold the Tony Ryan extension that Tom uses. The upper pocket was then made to be 1.5 inches high so that it makes a gradual decrease going toward the top.
On the lid we tooled a larger flower again surrounding it with a rope border.
The lid also has a gentle arc to further accent the inlay on the back and to be different.
The interior is a 2x3 Comfy Padded Rebound setup that we invented. No springs or other foreign objects - all cushy goodness to protect the cue parts.
The case was done with a left hand carry and a side handle to hold the strap in place while the top handle was sewn in the luggage style so as not to interrupt the flow.
Zhen Hai Lee is the tooler and he signed the bottom and the case is dated under the JB Cases logo on the back.
All of us at JB Cases thank you again Tommy for the business and the opportunity to build you a case.
