WOW! I dont know if its the high of getting a new cue or going from a $125 lucasi to a $1500 eurowest....but my game just took a HUGE step in the right direction.

Really pretty cue Cleary.... Good luck with it. I'm a sucker for swirly cocobolo and I like the tasteful inlays too. Nuthin like a new cue -- play it like you stole it!:)

are you saying that now you are 1 ball better? 2 balls better? 3 balls better?

define HUGE for us, and exactly what you mean by saying your game is alot better.

i play better with better cues, to an extent Duh? Lemme explane. i play better with a Szam than a McDermott, I play better with a McDermott than a $40 cheapie, its not awalys price, I played once with a Viking a gy loaned me and that particular cue was one of the best hitting cues I ever played with, i won a fair bit of $$$ that night and offered to buy it, he wouldnt sell it, he knew what he had. I have played with one G.Szam that wasnt so great-compaired to all the other Gus cues-it has a funny balance point. But as a rule a good quality custom cue will serve me better than a production cue most of the time, congrats
 
Amazing looking cues... New cues, especially the ones that hit good, tend to give you an over-all better feel about your play... more confidence, and as most of us believe pool is a mental game..

A week ago I would get to the 3-4 (on average) against the ghost. The past two days playing with the new cue, Im averaging the 6. But not only that.... my shape, ball speed, control is just overall better.
