Wow.. Beautiful cues.. The wood on the buttsleve of the jump cue is amazing.. Pete has really beautiful quilted maple as well.. I cant be more happy with my Omen play and break cue... Btw, is that ivory joint on your play cue?? How does an ivory jointed omen play compared to his standard wood-to-wood joint?

Smokin cues Scott. The materials are striking and we know about Pete's playability. It looks like you are all set! Congratulations. Great choice.

Its not ivory, I want to say delforain pete said it was a new faux ivory, I'm sure someone on here will know. I will let you know how it hits when it gets through customs and to my mail box. The b/j breaks and jumps great it was a last minute add on to the order. I actually found a select piece of amboyna burl online, (of course it was already kiln dried and stable) I had it shipped to pete's door and the cue was done in no time although i ended up waiting for delievery untill i flew home for my mid tour. I sent a email to pete from incheon international airport and after something like 30 hours of flying and waiting in airports i showed up in rhode island early in morning. The next morning i had my cue talk about customer service.

Yeah.. Omen b/j breaks damn well.. I cant really jump with it as im short.. When i first got my b/j, i felt that the taper was kinda like a play cue taper.. But it breaks really well!!

Joint Material

The Popular new substitute for Ivory some cuemakers are using is called
Elforyn. I have never used it myself but it must be similar in hit I would imagine.

Thanks.............Paul

yes that is what it is thank you. I got to play a little with it and it plays awesome.
