Finally I finished it , I must have like one million hours into it , sure feels like it. so let me explain to start I used a flat ground lathe bed to mount the main rails. I have found in the past this is a big problem the ''flex'' factor . I machined and keyed everything and over built everything. next I built a tilt table to level the cue out , its set up when all the way up and down its dead on. the table runs only .001 all the way down top and side. I ran an indicator on everything head stock , tail stock , x and z axis all have 0 run out , I'm a mad man. I used anti-backlash ball lead screws, also pined the head stock and tail stock under neath with tight fitting delrin bushing . the next thing to make is is inlay table and a fourth axis in the future. enjoy pics D Hill
