When I upgraded to my first decent cue after playing with a Players brand cue I bought the Joss in the photos from Don. I wanted a 'black' cue but I took this one because it was the best for what I wanted to spend.
After a little while I still wanted to pick up a 'black' cue with 'white' points. I didnt want to spend the money on ivory so Don and I worked together to decide on this excellent ebony with holly point cue. It has double red veneers also. The butt sleeve is striped at my request because Ive always liked the striped Predator P2 models. We added a synthetic material on the joint and butt cap to both save weight and match with my theme.
The wrap is just a plain black linen because I havent been able to find the wrap I want as of yet and I am sure it will be replaced with a lizard of some sort (most likely black and white ringtail) shortly.
I got the pin to match my Joss's 5/16 14 pattern so I could use my existing Predator shaft on this new butt. I also picked up a second 314-2 from Troy on the board.
I think Don has made under 10 cues this year with the opening of his new shop so my masterpiece is in a short run of great cues this year.
Thanks for looking, happy holidays!
