Late last year, I ordered a cue from Greg Sirca (http://www.gscue.com/). I had seen a Sirca for sale here, and really liked his style, so I decided to contact him about making me a cue. We spoke and emailed about the type of cue I wanted, the specifications, the inlay designs, joint type, everything. He and I spent 2 weeks getting the design finalized, and he even sent me in progress pics as he worked on it, per my request. The cue finally arrived yesterday, and I think it looks awesome.

The cue is ebony, with 6 ivory inlaid points at the forearm, mirrored in the butt, and ivory inlaid checked rings at the C, D, and E positions, wrapped with pressed black irish linen. The joint is a brass 3/8 x 10 pin, and the tip is a kamui black soft. He even made some custom ebony joint protectors for the cue.

The cue is almost PERFECT, exactly what I visualized when we talked about the design. I played a few hours with it last night, and the hit is solid, although I DO have to get used to it, and I think I'm going to get an OB1 shaft for it.

Many thanks to Greg Sirca, for making my first truly custom, unique, original, and AFFORDABLE cue. It was a pleasure working with him.

greg sirca are awesome playing cue!

That's a beauty!!!!

Sirca

That cue is Bueatiful, That looks like something that I have been thinking off, I can't get enough of the Black and white, Mine is gonna be wrapless tho, I love em, Nice cue, Thanks for showing it to us. If ya don't mind me asking what does something like that run?

With all that ebony and ivory, the cue is a lot less expensive than you would think. I had it custom made to my specs, and I agreed to Greg's request not to disclose the price of the cue in public, but let's just say that it was very affordable for a custom cue. Although I did send it back to Greg recently to reduce the weight a bit (based on playing with it a few months), I was every bit satisfied with the quality of the work and the communication.

Greg is going to fix a few minor blemishes on the cue, and swap out the brass pin to reduce the weight a bit, all for free. Good customer service, very responsive to emails, great to work with, and the cue plays great. I would buy another Sirca custom cue in a heartbeat.
