Late last year, I ordered a cue from Greg Sirca (http://www.gscue.com/). I had seen a Sirca for sale here, and really liked his style, so I decided to contact him about making me a cue. We spoke and emailed about the type of cue I wanted, the specifications, the inlay designs, joint type, everything. He and I spent 2 weeks getting the design finalized, and he even sent me in progress pics as he worked on it, per my request. The cue finally arrived yesterday, and I think it looks awesome.
The cue is ebony, with 6 ivory inlaid points at the forearm, mirrored in the butt, and ivory inlaid checked rings at the C, D, and E positions, wrapped with pressed black irish linen. The joint is a brass 3/8 x 10 pin, and the tip is a kamui black soft. He even made some custom ebony joint protectors for the cue.
