First three photos courtesy of martin. First time owning a custom with pred shaft. Cue is a light 18.25oz(bacote), lighter than I am used to. Hit is phenominal though. Will play with for now and maybe aquire a slightly heavier one later on. Let me know what you guys think. This is truly a beauty!!!

I was digging a Bocote SP Cue that was posted by skins, which was for sale at the US Open. As the shafts in this thread are Preds, I doubt this is the same cue.

Nice looker by the way.

Its funny.

I don't usually like Bacote cues or Josey sneakies (The quality is great, I just prefer plainer cues) but I really like this cue. Just looks "right" and the ringwork, while simple, is really nice.

Nice cue sir. Hope you enjoy it.

I have never been a fan of 'Bacote' but I must say that this cue looks very nice, enjoy...

It's hot. I've always liked that sneaky look style of Josey.

Once you get used to the lighter cue, the heavier cues will feel like a pile driver in your hands. The trend seems to be going toward lighter weights. I like a cue in the 18.5 ounce range because I feel like I have better control than with a heavier cue.

Sounds good and also will look good. :D I still prefer the figure of Bocote and/or Cocobolo. I'm digging the Tulipwood if it only had the same inlays as the other SPs. Feast on the pix below. ;)

How are the 314^2 shafts?

Can you compare to original Predator shafts?

Thanks,
Koop

That is a beautiful cue btw.

I never have played with an origional 314 Koop so I can't tell you....from what I heard a little to a lot better depending on who you ask.

On a side note, I believe I MIGHT put this up for sale in the sale forum....now before you all chastize me.....I overextended myself purchasing this cue at the time. I am a student with very little income and this took most of it. I might be in trouble (money wise) so I might have to sell. Any takers? Oh yeah and if your wondering, when (or if) I decide to sell and I get back on my feet I will be buying the same cue directly from Keith, exept with about a .5-1.0 oz heavier. This one is 18.25. Lemme know if you have a possible interest in purchasing.
