Hello just would like to share my new custom jump cue. My unknown up and coming cuemaker friend just made me this jumper. I never owned a jump cue because i have always used the banks. Anyways he calls his jumpers Quantum Leap Jumpers, the only place i know that where you can find them is around Lancaster CA. Anyways this thing just jumps effortless and I have had very good results while playing at league these past couple of weeks.

anyways here it is

nice cue you have there travis... could you please pm me the cue makers contact info... i like the colors of the cue!

So I actually have one of these jump cues, it's my favorite cue in my bag, and I've always wanted to know who made it. I'm really hoping you get pinged and still use the forum so I can find out. For anyone else who ever gets the chance to use one, they are absolutely incredible!

nice jump cue
in my experience jumpers made from dymondwood which it seems your is (can you confirm this?)

They tend to be pretty heavy which doesn't lend itself very well to the dart stroke I use due to shoulder issues though...

For the OP, can you tell us the weight of the shaft and butt individually as well as the lengths of both?

Cool cue...

the op hasnt logged in since last year

i prefer the lighter jump cue for a dart stroke myself

tho i do see the benefit of a heavier one , especially when the player
is more comfortable and able to use the over hand method of jumping

like everything else all depends on what you can do best

Here are some quick and dirty photos of the one I have. Looks like the total weight is coming out to 7.55oz with the shaft taking up 2.51oz and the butt at 5.03oz +-0.01. Definitely feels light in the hand. I tend to use an overhand jump, but it darts no problem at all. A bit too short for sidearm jumping. Definitely my favorite cue in the bag, has incredible control.

I didn't grab a photo, but I thought it important to note; Butt length is 18.75in and the shaft is 24in, for a total length of 42.75"

At some point I'll get out the better camera and take some real photos of it.
