Hiya all,

Just got these pics from Mr. Justis, and wanted to post 'em up here. Thanks to Hunter, especially, for making this possible!!! :)

Kind of on the plainer side of things, I know....but works perfectly for my upcoming cues, and Jack really did an excellent job, producing exactly what I was wanting.

Thanks to Mr. Justis for his hard work. I'm thrilled!! :D :D

Hey Mark,

Congrats! I think your new case is just classy, not too plain or gaudy... Nice move having your name done on the strap pad just in case you ever want to up the capacity or change to a newer style down the road. Always nice to see another hopelessly addicted member of Team Justis, too! I don't think you can go wrong with one of Jack's cases...

Take care,

Steve

Classical look will always turn heads.
You sure have me looking!

Nice case and thanks for sharing the pictures with us.

Is the dark leather black or midnight blue? Either way, it is a bee-yoo-tee-full case.

The case is solid black leather. White Italian leather diamonds with an inlaid black lizard diamond, too.

The case looks a TON better than I could have hoped for....and will really compliment a Tuxedo cue I have coming soon(ish). Same white diamond pattern with smaller black diamond inside.

Thanks for all the kind words, ya'll. Glad to hear that I'm not alone in thinking the case is gorgeous.

Be good,

Rat

WOW!! Team Justis, who knew there ever was a team Justis?? How can I get an aplication???
BTW did you ask Jack if it was ok to post pics of his case??

Jim

8-Ball Rat, that is one of the nicest Justis cases I have ever seen, which means it's one of the nicest cases I have ever seen. Awesome!

If by "plain" you mean not crafted out of 2000 year old Albino Dinosaur ass hide sections, then yeah, its plain.:p

Wonderful looking case, very classy.:)

Jimbo wants to know .....

Is the zipper installed correctly?

Only fooling with ya'all and it's an inside joke. You and I can keep a secret. Very Beautiful case you have 8 Ball Rat.

Regards,
Hal

Ya know...you're right. I suppose my meaning was that compared to some of the cases Jack has done for the AZB crowd, this one is on the more subdued side of the fence.

....but you might be onto something with the dinosaur ass hides! I'll hit Jack up for one of those on round number 2!!! :)

All kidding aside, one can't really use the word "plain" when one talks about a Jack Justis case....can one??!!

Thanks again ya'll for the kind words.

Jimbo - I did, in fact, get expressed written consent, completed in triplicate, and signed with goat's blood.

Hal, The leather zipper tassles were intentionally installed 180 degrees out from standard......but since both sides are finished leather, I'm the only one who will ever know! ;)

Mark,

I think the case is tacky, un-refined, horribly designed, and probably cheap in construction. You probably got taken and paid way too much money for this monstrosity. Tell you what....since we're friends, I'll take it off your hands for $200 next time we get together. I'd like to see you get some money back from it, and I can use it to store my Cuetec collection which has been collecting dust in the closet.

Let me know what day is good for you. I know...I know....I am a very generous person.

Wow!

Plain will work for me one day .... lol

I am going to borrow the idea of the name on the shoulder pad though, if'n ya don't mind .... Sir.

Very Very Very nice.

Matt - You are too kind, sir. It takes a special kind of guy to offer up such an offer for a brand new J. Justis case.....just out of the kindness of his own heart. I'll keep it in mind....but you might have to trade up on the Cuetecs.....and get a Mizerak from Target in Alexandria, first. Food for thought.

Doc - Thanks much, sir. Glad my case inspired you for your own. You can even put "Rat" on it, if you like....just as a tribute to moi!!!

Yeah...didn't think so, either.

Be good, ya'll.

So I'll see you this weekend? I've got ten crisp 20 dollar bills with your name on them. Just bring that POS case and I'll take it off your hands. And I DO have a Mizerak. That is my main player.......with a custom made lucasi shaft to go on it (had to upgrade a bit). It plays jam up...hits a ton! BTW....once I get that case I'm changing my name to RAT so you'll have to come up with something else....Just wanted to make you aware. Thanks.

Take care,
