My new Kelly Cue! For those who never heard or seen his work come look.

I just picked this cue up Saturday at the White Diamond tournament. I am not a cue guy and do not know all the correct terms. I did design the cue from looking at this section of the site for the last year with the help of tatoo and eppeone.

It is a ebony on ebony 6 point high and low with the low points being ivory and the high points being ebony with knotch diamond inlays. Cue has a ivory joint with custom rings around the joint and wrap. Cue has the same knotch diamonds as a seperator from the ivory hoppe ring and the wrap. The wrap is a cork wrap and is something have never had before so wanted to try it it and love it. The cue has custom joint protectors that are still in the process of being made but wanted the cue first which was my choice and two shafts with ivory diamonds.

Absolutely gorgeous is all I can say Juice. The cue design is bold and yet clean. This is a hard thing to do. The blue against the black with white accents is a great combination of colors. The hoppe ring finishes it off. I would describe it as perfectly embellished.
 
I'm with Hungarian in that the color choice was EXCELLENT!:thumbup:

My first custom also had similar colors and never regretted it. My blue was a little lighter though.

This Kelly dude is for real. That is a cue I'd love to show as mine any day. I like the MOP diamonds more, but think your choice here was better. If it shoots anywhere near as good as it looks then you picked one helluva cue!:thumbup:

Wow when seen this cue this weekend i was socked. Kelly cues are made as well as any cue i have ever seen. I had to order one for my self. Mike Derouen you got a fan for life. Can't wait and it not for sale.

Can you post some information about Kelly Cues please? I've never heard of them but they are stunning looking and I'd be interested to learn more. I'm sure others would be interested in how to order one.

I know of a couple more with way more work. I will try to get some pics of them. One of them just has tons and tons of work.

This cue is extremely well executed. Points are razor sharp and line up perfectly. Ringwork lines up from top to bottom. I see Mike's cues all the time, and this one is not an exception to the quality of his workmanship. They are all top notch. I think the only picture that does the veneers any justice is the last one. They look like they are illumnated. The chain link ringwork is also stunning, and this is the first example of that ringwork I have seen in any of Mike's cues.

Juice, you are lucky to have it.

P.S. the case isn't bad either.

I thought you wouldn't be too hungry after getting so many free ribeye dinners in the Calcutta at White Diamonds!
 
sweet rings and pics!!! the cue works well when firing in the 9ball with the cue ball up on the rail on the other side of the table ;)

I did not even eat one of them Ribeye dinners. LOL I gave them to my buddies and ate the gumbo. Then we went and ventured out and ate at Copelands and Walk on's. Louisiana is the best state for food for sure. I cannot get enough of rice gravy, gumbo, crab, and shrimp.
 
this cue is a stunner was there when it was delivered....i looked it over very close and man this guy does very good work......i was really suprised how nice it turned out....since i havent seen a ton of his work.....this cue is great and i happy my buddy is enjoying it......justin put it in action......
