Okay...one more picture of the joint.
I want to see the secret super Ultra joint to make it hit so well.
:scratchhead:
Thanks! I'll try out that same joint on one of my $25 Kaiser cues to see if it makes a difference.
Good luck !! lol I highly doubt that Mike would convert the joint of a $25 Kaiser cue or if anyone else could even make the exact joint. I heard others have tried but with no results. Let me see this cue after you get it all fixed up with the same joint and I will let you know what I think. ... < ED
( I own a collection of cues but nothing else hit like a Lambros )
I think maybe before stateing something on a forum you should stop in a check out the shop sometime. I know they dont have a problem talking with any perspective customers. And I believe building a joint with the tolerances that all his joints have , ultra and ultimate are more that just a 45 degree angle on the shaft. You have to see one up close then you would see the close tolerances the joint is actually machined inside which the pilot seats. Thats what gives his cues the hit and feel that people like, Thats what Im saying. <<< ED ( But I would like to see that Kaiser cue when its finsihed)![]()
Trust me...I know how it all works and there is nothing complicated about it.
You can ask any good machinist or tool maker if they can make the joint and they'll tell you it's a piece of cake. Easy...no problem.
I have tried a Lambross Cue and to me...it's just another pool cue. The joint of a cue just isn't that big of a deal. Great selling point though.
Then it shouldnt be long before you have that Kaiser changed over , post pictures and I would like to come see it in person. I will bring my calipers and mic.. Let me know..lol
