Well guys, about a month ago I had a thread (fair deal or junk). After all your impute I showed my buddy the comments. He said, WOW I guess I owe you one. I told him don't worry about it, I just don't want you to give it away. Well 2 nights ago I meet up with him and he gives me this cue and says now were square. Man was I surprised and excited! This is a nice cue! And a good friend.
Now I need some help. I know the ferrules are ivory, and is part ebony. I believe it has 4 veneers. But what is the rest?
Help me out with wood, points, and what the joint is made out of, and maybe value please.
Any information would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
James

looks like it might be an ultra joint II. Wood to wood piloted. Value? it is an ultra joint II I would say1600- 1800, if it is a regular ultra joint then 1800-2000. Looks like ebony and my guess is cocobolo.

Great looking cue.

99,9% sure that is cocobolo points and butt, 5 veneers. Looks mint and I would say ca 2500-2700usd new. Ivory ferrules was a special order since he doesn't usually use them.

The cocobolo looks like it came from the same stock as 2 cues I had (one sold one at Mike´s for a touch up) It´s very, very nice and have a deep rich orange look to it with very nice grain to it.

You can easily ship it to Mike and order a extension for it - seems like the cue was just made before he did it to every cue.

If you are interested in any trade, let me know.

That cue deserves to be played with, - his cues are fantastic both in construction and playability!

Congrats!
