My new (old) pool table

Just bought this table and its being installed this Sunday. It is a Brunswick Sport King and must be at least 50 years old. It looks brand new and original. I just can't believe this table is this old. I have played on it and it plays very good. It had new cushions and cloth installed about 5 years ago. I am just amazed how good it looks for its age. Can't wait until Sun to start playing on it.

I like the looks of those.
Especially the castings, wood rails, and how the pockets are practically flush.
What do you give up (if anything?) compared to a GC?

I have had several gold crowns and I think this table will play similar to the GCs. I just like the looks of this oldie.

Yes the SK slate is backed, and doweled, just like the Anniversary and Centennial.

Brunswick built at least two Windsors that I know of, which Windsor are you talking about? The one built in the 70s probably not because that one was 3/4" slate and mostly particle board, it was basically a table for the kids knock around on. The later Windsor built around 2000 has 1 inch framed slate and was one of Brunswick's premier home tables.
