My new plain jane Gina...

My apology for the crappy pictures, I guess it's time to replace that old flip phone with something a little more recent.

A few years ago a young man posted a snakewood plain jane in the for sale section. I fell hard for the cue but we couldn't come to terms regarding payment and delivery. He was out of the country and wanted me to wire the money to him and his friend would send me the cue. I'm sure he was a good guy but he didn't have much itrader rep and the gamble wasn't worth it. I didn't want to end up with one of those sorry, bad sale cue stories so I just ordered one from Ernie.

It was originally ordered with ivory parts and was in progress when the "ivory hit the fan", so to speak, so Ernie finished it with Elforyn (sp?). I believe it's the first ivory free Gina delivered.

Ernie finished this about a month ago and I picked it up two weeks ago. I've been slowed a bit with a pinched nerve (Sciatica) and finally hit a few balls last night. It's a Ginacue and feels and plays like any of my other ivory ferruled or ivory/steel jointed Ginas.

Anyway, sorry again about the bad pictures.

Best to you all.

Beautiful cue! Hard to beat snakewood! Nice maple gina in your avatar pic as well. Unique rings! Congrats

Very nice!....

Though a big ivory fan I'm excited to posibly see some more stainless joints, mop, abalone, and perhaps delrin come out of Ernies shop.. Love the hit if his stainless jointed cues and they always flowed well, design wise, with his "looks". Couple that with some delrin caps and quality mop and "classic" will have never been so good. :)

Thanks, here's some more Ginacue threads

Thanks again for the comments guys, I'm guessing most of you are Ginacue fans so I'm going to post links to a few threads with some of the Ginas's that have others have shared over the last few years.

I'm also posting the original thread when the maple cue in my current avatar made it's debut. I can't take any credit for the cue except that I jumped on it when it came up for sale a few years later.

Please let me know if any of you that posted the original threads want me to remove the links and I'll take them down right away, I'm just appreciative of the cues and your generosity in sharing them.
