I don't have any pictures to add but that bottom Schon in the photo sure brings back memories.
I started playing at a very young age, about 6 or 7 years old. My dad had that exact R series schon at the time. Stitched rings at the joint. Four sharp points. And 6 maple windows in the sleeve. Sweet cue.
A few years later, I'm 9 now and playing in one of my first tournaments. Dad tells me if I make the top 10 he'll give me his cue. It was a 64 man event against adults. I'm sure he was just trying to inspire me. In some lucky miracle, I got 9th.
That Schon is what sparked my interest in cues. Who knew two decades later I'd be building cues myself.
