I just got this in the mail and i am super impressed. This thing is a beauty, now to decide who to have it built by, i have an idea but really want to have it matched with a couple of predator pre cats i have in 5/16-14. I want the shafts to possibly be converted to ivory ferrules. Any suggestions would be great on builders and/or additions to the cue. For now enjoy the blank and i look forward to hearing comments.

Just a question, why would you want the predator shafts to be converted to ivory ferrules? Don't you think that will ruin the LD characteristics of the shaft?

I have hit with a shaft that had it done, the original ferrule cracked due to someone sanding on it so it was replaced with ivory as a test for giggles. I am used to playing with standard shafts with ivory and used to play with LD and can tell you that it is a weird kind of middle ground that I liked. But then again I may not have it done either, I was just kind of thinking out loud. Odds are I will just have 2 standard ivory ferrules shafts made for it and call it a day.

Well if you like it, and done it before, go for it.
