My New Schon Player

I just got this back from Bob. Had him remove the cork wrap which naturally wasn't original and replace it with a nice black leather wrap. He also built a new shaft with the old yellow micarta ferrule and he's building me another shaft which I'll have soon. He told me this cue was built in the mid 80's. This is the SP 22, what do you think?

Nice pick up Greg. I like those old sharp pointed Schons. I bet it hits as solid as any custom cue for the same or twice the price!
 
You seem to change your player as often as I do Greg, but in the end you always migrate back to a Schon or a Runde.. Nice cue my friend..
 
Bob is a great guy to deal with. He modified some shafts for me a while back to match one of his cues and the workmanship was outstanding. You have a classic old Schon.
