Guy - Merely an oversight, sir.....soon to be rectified, for sure!! :)

Myron's got jokes!!!!! You're a funny man, Myron......... (and what's sad is that I ALMOST did that very thing!!)

Oh well....in today's age of insanity and chaos, ya'll can rely on me to be every bit as steady as I've always been!! ;)

Thanks much, Cubs. I really am pleased at how great the cue turned out.

When I ordered it, I went off a cue that they had in their shop at the time. I made a couple requests for my own cue, and let them fly.......and what I got out of it was one HELL of a nice cue.

I wish all cuemakers could be that easy....and fun.....to do business with. I've been lucky to do really great business with a few......but have had some pretty horrible experiences with others.

All in all, NOBODY could go wrong, dealing with Tim and Mike.......

AND..... just to be clear, they are very much aware of the AZB boards, and I had two seperate conversations with them about me actually KEEPING this cue!!! :) :) See??? Even THEY know how "steady" my cue dealings have been!!

And check the transaction thread, when you can....I was on my way there now to post up what you did for me a couple weeks ago, sir.

Nice cue, bro! :D
I've been kinda itchin' for a nice maple plain jane myself these days...lol

Look at it this way Mark. You have a natural gift for networking. Your reputation for honesty and trustworthiness is stellar. Plus, you LOVE buying and selling cues. If you ever decide to become a cue dealer you're going to have a ready-made network of clientele!

I'm just too CHEAP to buy a lot of cues..LOL. Nickels are like man-hole covers to me (got that line from the SOPRANOS). ;)

My new Tim Scruggs

Mark; I had to leave Tim and Mike early on Saturday, missed you by about an hour. Tim gave you a great deal on your cue. Good luck with it. JP

I only mentioned the possibility of the sale because you PM'd me that you were thinking about it because of your search for the Boar and other cues in the works.
But what happened to the John Davis cue that was in the works and due about this time as well?

Myron

Yep....and that's why I almost DID sell the rights to that cue off....to keep hope alive on the 6-pointer. Then all that magic happened, and didn't need to sell it anymore.

As far as the John Davis cue goes, I'm still in the pipe, but with all the work John's got ahead of him, I'm leaving him to finish mine up in his own time. He's got most of it put together....I'm just waiting on the finishing touches. Yet ANOTHER cue I forgot to add to my signature list.........gotta go change that now, too!!

Sweet Birdseye cue :)

I heard a while back that the 8 BallRat was talking to Timi and Mike about having a player made,
Rat had decided that it was a good time to have a cue made exactly the way he wanted. And to make that cue his ONE player.
I was not suprised Rat chose one of Timi's and Mike's cues. I was woundering from time to time if he had recieved it yet.
What joint type is it? And if you don't mind what are the specs?
Great cue!!! And Congrats!!!
After all they are "Built for a lifetime of enjoyment"!
I am not sure what is more exciting.
The first time you see the cue.
The first ball you hit with the cue.
Or the look on other peoples face when you let them hit with it and they just stair at it like it is a magic wand!!
Happy pocketing Mr 8BallRat!!!
Nick:)

Thanks, Nick. Tim and Mike really put some magic together on this cue.

19.3 ounces
58"
HIGHLY figured BEM forearm and buttsleeve
Stainless 5/16x14 joint
Ringwork at A, B, and E of maple and red dot-dash rings bordered in silver
2 shafts with ivory ferrules (of course)
Black with red linen wrap

FANTASTIC looker and player, that's for sure!!

Thanks again,

Rat

Hiya Mark, it's probably a bit dangerous to be listing all those orders in your sig line with the sharks around here:) It might start some kind of speculation market when you'll be selling them. I can see a new forum for it already. Odds, futures, calls, puts, closing prices and all.

That said I'm interested in the Rick Howard you have on the way...nah, just giving you a hard time that's all...

I have faith that there's ALREADY some kind of unofficial pool running on me....and which cues will sell within which time frame. I'll go one step further, and speculate that Myron and Matt are heading it up!!

I hope that they'll, at least, have the common decency to give me a cut of the windfall profits!!

Hope the healing's continuing well, sir. We're about due for another game, yes???

Be good, and keep on healin'.

Mark

I was laying 3-1 odds that you wouldn't sell the titlist boar. After I lost a boatload on that...well.....I just don't know how to bet regarding your cue deals anymore. If I bet you'll sell, now you'll probably keep. I think I'm just going to have to close down the pool. :)

The healing is coming along well, thank you for asking. I'm playing again and up for a few games, so PM me if you're free one of these weekends.

Enjoy that Scruggs too.
