My New Wayne Holmes Vridge Point Cue

I Just thought i'd share my new Wayne Holmes Custom Cue.

It is:

Birds eye maple forearm

4 snakewood points with 3 bridge pointed veneers

Leather lizard embossed wrap

Snake wood butt section with 4 veneered birds eye maple boxes

3 shafts - 2x old growth maple and 1 flat laminated shaft.

It hits as good as it looks.

Congrats on your pick up of a beauty of a Wayne cue. Mr. Holmes builds super looking and hitting cues. Not to mention he is just one heck of a nice guy.
 
Heya, Mole! I believe Wayne and I were talking about you here a few days ago over the phone. He said he recently had a visitor from the U.K. visit his home in N.C. Said you guys had a very nice time. I just placed my order for a cue over the weekend after spending a few weeks talking and corresponding with Wayne. He is one heck of a nice guy, I'll give you that. Beautiful cue, btw! My brother had Mr. Holmes build him a cue about 7 years ago so when it came time to talk to a cuemaker, I reached out to Wayne. Anyways, glad you're loving your new weapon!!! Again, real stunner you have there. I'll be sure to post up pics once mine is in hand. Take care!

Thanks for the kind comments about my cue and my buddy Wayne. Yes my family and I visited Wayne and Pat in April and they were the hosts with the most! Was my second time to see Wayne and Pat, I was there in 2007 as well - surprised they had me back ;-)

On my last visit I picked up a traditional old school ebony pointed cue with abalone inlays, now that also is the muts nuts.

Wayne is refinishing my another of his cues for me at the moment and fitting ringtail lizard wrap to my tuxedo cue with short ebony and silver points. This was my first cue of his and is very special to me.

One thing I have learned when ordering a cue from Wayne is he really takes the time to make sure you get what you want and that you are happy.

I hope you enjoy your new cue when it arrives and I would love to see some pictures.
