My Olney Cue

I'm posting this to learn what I can of the history of this cue. I got this cue from Tommie1351 and like it a lot. The point work is perfect, the inlays very nicely done, the wrap (does Jeff Olney do leather wraps?) is excellent and neatly done. The cue has a nice balance and hits the balls great (although ivory is not my favorite joint material). There is one very tiny chip at the upper outer radius of the ivory joint (non-problem) and a few very light dings in the finish - but I would give the cue at least a 9 on a 10 scale for appearance.

I do know (per Tommie) that one shaft was made by Jim Pierce and it seems to be a perfect mate to the cue. Would/could anyone please tell me anything else about the history of this cue?

Jeff does not do leather wraps. If you post these pics in the Olney thread, I'm sure Jeff would give you a bit of background... Possibly even a previous owner might chime in.

IT WAS A CUE I BOUGHT AWHILE BACK, FROM SOMEONE HERE. THE LEATHER WRAP WAS DONE BY PAUL FANELLI. IT HAD 2 OLNEY SHAFTS WHEN I OWNED IT, SO I'M NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OTHER ORIGINAL.
