I love to play pool but I also love my 140 gal. saltwater aquarium. Anybody else here have one?

Was this in a basement on a concrete? If not what held the floor from a collapse?
I've never owned a saltwater fish tank, but I've had several friends that did and still do.
I was just having a discussions at the pool room last night about the tanks and our adventures with them.

Not in a basement or on a concrete floor. My fat ass had to get under the house and I put some braces up under the 3 big tanks, didn't worry about that little 80 gal.
But in my defense, my ass wasn't as fat 15 years ago as it is now,lol. :wink:
I hae a three gallon aqurium with on Bata Fish.

One of my favorite fish was a Texas Cichlid. Had that thing from about 1cm until he was about 8 or 10in. He'd follow people that walked by his tank(28gal maybe?), he'd do a small swimming routine if you tapped on his tank and sometimes he'd try to bite your finger if you just pressed it to the glass. Ended up dying when I moved to another apartment a few years later. Been wanting to get another, but don't know where the heck I'd put it.. and it would cost a decent chunk of change to get all set up again. Instead, I play pool.
Salt water aquariums are the most beautiful, but it takes a lot of knowledge, work and skill to keep those fish alive. Being a diver, I wanted to have an exotic tank. I had a really nice smaller tank and remember buying my wife a beautiful queen angel for her birthday for about $100. It never ate a single bite of food, started tilting over and died in a week.
I really enjoyed my tank but it was too difficult to keep the fish alive. I could go on and on about fish killing each other and diseases and so forth. Anyway it lasted about 2 years and a thousand dollars worth of fish then I finally gave it up. My favorite fish was a little yellow cowfish. It would play and suck on my finger until some flesh eating disease killed it.
