My project pool room

I got my 1st pool table a month and a half ago a 7 ft 1 piece slate for $200 knowing it was in need of a TLC but playable. From the start I had plans to re felt and cushion it but I was not planing on having the cash till march at least well I had a hell of a x-mas gift that came out of the blue. So now I can fix it early.

I want to make this table from unknown brand bar table to gem. So I just got done ordering everything that I wanted by march + some. I wanted to make a post that I will be able to see later on in a few days to a week after it's all done all that I have done.

I just ordered myself k66 cushions simonis 860HR cloth new set of amamith ball set and 3 foot trouble pool cue coming up to $333.00.

I will be doing some more work at a later dater when I have the cash to make the rubber pocket leather and fix a few small issues with the ball return and of course the wood.

But this is what I am starting with now.

the only thing I have to ID the brand of the table.

I have no idea and I am no expert in id'ing pool tables but it reminds of an old AMF table. I could be way off though. Maybe RKC will chime in and set the record straight.

I agree, it could be an AMF but not certain.

Ok thanks 2 out of 3 say a old AMF I think ill go with a old AMF.

Well I finished my 1st table recovery with the help of 2 friends 1 helped with 5 hours of cutting and shaping and gluing the cushions from 8ft to 7ft.
The other helped with felting my 860 HR. Each put in 5 hours of work with me then I put the facings on myself and shaped them. I put in around 4-5 hours solo work with braking down and facings and what not.

All in all around 15 hours of work with nobody having any exp with table recovery.

one more rail it may not look the best but it plays like a dream.
