I've Spoken With This Seller & He's Pretty Legitimate

I've personally spoken with this seller and he's sure seems completely legit and is very responsive to being contacted. I even checked a reference he provided with another prominent AZer who gave him a solid thumbs up....the cue is absolutely fabulous and the seller is just a great guy based upon my experience and discussions with him....I completely trust him but you have to make your own decision.

To All That May Be Concerned About This Seller.

Someone asked about whether this seller's posting, or maybe even the seller, was legitimate. I responded with a posting that explained my experince with this seller and that he was someone that I considered to be trustworthy. At the same time, for what it might be worth, I found it pleasant to communicate with him as well.

His listing now shows that one of the cues has been sold. But for anyone that might have had some question about this seller's legitimacy, how does that help lower any concerns or questions they might have originally had? Simply changing the listing description to read "sold" doesn't automatically add creditability to the seller.......I mean he could have just typed that in and maybe the cue actually didn't sell...how would a doubtful minded person possibly know? If the cue wasn't also listed on
e-Bay, there's not much way of checking....seller could claim it was a quick, local sale.

YIPPEE!!!!!!! HURRAY!!!!!!! YAHOO!!!!! WAY TO GO!!!!!! If my exuberance seems somewhat odd.................it's because I can guarantee you the cue sold................I'm the new owner of his Scruggs cue. I purchased it minutes ago on e-Bay and just completed payment. So back to the question about whether this Azer is legitimate? Absolutely and I'm confident enough to put my money where my mouth is.

Congrats. That is a great looking cue. Please post some good pics for us when you get it.

I'll Post Some Photos Next Week.

TD....I will get some photos of the cue posted next week.

Nick, thanks again for calling me....it's always a treat to speak with someone that has expert knowledge of cues, especially Scruggs. I'll make it a point to let you know my impressions of the cue but after chatting with you, I'm even more pumped up now and all the more excited about its arrival.

Guess where That Cue Is Going To Sit....

How ya doin Jim? By the way, the Scruggs cue you complimented is going to be sitting right next to that beautiful Joss West cue you sold me earlier this year. During your travels, please keep me in mind in case you encounter any James White ivory joint cues with some attractive veneers/ivory inserts.....that's my next target acquisiton.

Sent You An E-mail

Bob,

I answered your PM and thanks for even being interested.....I also sent you a couple of photos that Tim Scruggs took of the finished cue. Tim sent the photos as an attachment in one of his several e-mails exchanged with the seller before the cue was purchased from Tim at the end of October 2006.

Cue arrived Today

Well, Fed Ex screwed up and didn't pick up the cue on MOnday as rqeuested but the seller contacted me a=to let me know. he baby sat the pick-up yesterday and the cue was picked up around 6PM Chicago time and reached me today in california at 1:55PM. Couldn't believe how fats the delivery was...and I feel now like I won a lottery becuase the cue's condition is way, way better than what the seller described.....you can't tell it from new.

And some of you already know how adament IO am agout straight shafts seller described the shafts accurately....truer than true....nothing but 100% flat contact with the pool table...nary a bit of light can be seen when test rolling either the shafts or the assembloed cue....seller also confirmed the shafts to be straight using a lathe prior to the purchase of the cue.

APARACKRUNNER is a absolutely a joy to work....I'm estatic with this cue and it was worth all the searching to fnally get a cue in such wonderful condition....speaking personally, this really confirms that taking your time to find the right cue is worth all the effort and wait.

This Scruggs weighs 18.3 ozs exactly and seems totally weightless in stroke...the sweetest hitting cue I've ever hit balls with...so much so that I'm thinking that another Scruggs cue may be the way to go on my next purchase instead of a IMW cue I have my eyes on. I just hope I can find a seller as straightforward and dependable as APARACKRUNNER has proven to be and of course, also locating another appealing Scruggs cue. Jmurphy was also a great seller that I've worked with just in case anyone might be considering doing business with him noe or in the future.

I've been asked to post some photos which I'll get around to shortly...right now I'm just preoccupied with playing pool with this cue...it's that enjoyable to use.

THANK YOU APARACKRUNNER FOR PICKING ME AS THE NEW OWNER OF YOUR SCRUGGS CUE.
