One of my favorite woods is "snakewood". From left to right in first picture: Scott Zachow matched set, Perry Weston, and Ariel Carmeli.

Scott Zachow - Eight points, 4 high snakewood and 4 low mammoth ivory, snakewood ivory and silver rings, natural lizard wrap. All white is mammoth ivory.

Perry Weston - Eight points, 4 high snakewood and 4 low elephant ivory, ivory and silver rings, natural lizard wrap. All white is elephant ivory. Love the flame veneers. Reverse points in butt sleeve.

Ariel Carmeli - 8 points snakewood (4 high, 4 low) into ebony forearm. Silver rings with ivory diamond inlays. Tribal motif ivory-abalone inlays in the butt sleeve. All white is ivory.

I couldn't help but smile seeing that Zac pair. It was such a treat having them made and using them for a period of time. A great playing set, to be sure. Nothing but compliments from everyone who saw them. I am so glad they went to someone who really appreciates them, Bob. By they way, is that a chip in the butt cap? You must be playing hard.

Thank you for posting your pics. It is so nice to see new pictures of cues that have been significant to me. Thanks again, Bob, and best wishes on your game.

Wow.. those are some amazing cues. Those Zac cues are really impressive. I've always love Perry Weston's work.. wish there were more pics of his work around (hmm.. seperate thread?). Thanks for taking the time to post up the pics.

i like the Zac cues best of all, looks like he had some of the 4 sided figure Snakewood when he made that cue.
