Hey guys I've been on this new video making kick and thought I would post up a review and show my collection of South West cues I own and talk a little about them. It always gives you a better view of the cues when you can see them on video. Hopefully this is fairly entertaining.

P.S. Sorry about the amateur video work. I just barley got the Canon 5D Mark III and am still learning how to take good video. At least it's in 1080p so you can get some good views of the cues.
If you guys want to see more on these cues I would be happy to post more details and better video of each cue individually.

I've owned this Mobley and loved it. I ended trading up to a Black Boar but really want to get into another Mobley soon :)

Great video. Nice collection of SW cues. I personally love the african black wood & snakewood cue.

yes you did.great cue.....there are a few out there....but as we know they aint CHEAP.....

Hi Patrick. The video is way cool, nicely done my friend.. I'll give you a call and bring some of my new additions and roll them out for you. I've really cut down on my collection and have thinned down to my favorite 8 cues.

My fav has to be the all high point birdseye and ebony!
 
My favorite is the african blackwood and snakewood! It doesn't hurt that it's 60" either since that's what I play with. Perhaps, one of these days when I have some money, I'll be able to talk you out of that one...lol.
 
Bob - Would love for you to come over and show me some of the cues you hung on to.

Phil - The DPK hits amazing and is even more crisp than the Southwest cues I have. You can really feel the parabolic taper behind the stroke. To describe it is like feeling more mass pushing through the cue ball without it feeling like it's a heavy cue. Hopefully that made sense. The other part about that cue is that it has 4 shafts. Two are original and have DPK tapers that he was using at the time. The two new shafts that were made five years ago have two different tapers, 15 inch pro DPK taper and the other is more traditional. I am in love with the 15 inch pro taper shaft because it's stiff but still spins the Sh*& out of the ball if needed.
 
Awesome video and collection you have there Patrick. My favorite is the satin SW. That's my favorite wood combo!
